Remember the game, “hide-n-seek” where “it” tries to find all of the quiet, camouflaged hiders? Do you think you may be playing this game when it comes to sharing your brilliance – making it difficult for others to find you?
The first step to sharing your brilliance is to identify it. It’s so easy to remain silent and do little or nothing with your brilliance when you don’t even know your own magnificence.
Are you ready to do a little detective work to discover it? In Part One of Sharing Your Brilliance is Not Optional, I unpack four steps to help you find your brilliance. In Part Two, I outline three common obstacles that slow you down from sharing your brilliance and three simple ways to make your brilliance visible.

[ allABOUT Websites ]
In this day and time, that may sound like a trick question. We’ve all pretty much accepted that “everyone needs a website.” But why?
Or, more specifically, What’s the Purpose of Your Website? Just like any other marketing activity, your website should have a clearly defined purpose. And, it’s not the same for everyone!

Lavender Threads
http://lavenderthreads.com
I am a self-professed computer geek - fascinated with computers since childhood, and creating websites for clients since the Internet was a toddler - in 1995.
I started Lavender Threads in 1998, focusing on creating websites that my clients could update themselves by building admin pages to make it easy for them to modify their pages.
In 2009 I began actively designing and modifying sites built on the WordPress platform, as it offers a very easy interface for clients to use - that I don't have to build each time.
For those who understand such things, I am proficient with HTML, PHP, CSS, MySQL, MSSQL, ColdFusion, and Javascript. If that doesn't mean anything to you, just skip ahead.
I also have a strong background in marketing, event management and internet technology; and am an artist and certified Life Coach.
I love working with clients who know exactly what they want, and with those who really don't know where to start.
I'm always happy to answer questions about the Web and websites!

[ allABOUT Social Media ]
I have a confession…
And my confession is about Social Media. You see, if I’m a person of truth and integrity then I need to admit that I don’t really care what you had for lunch. Seriously, I don’t. And it’s fair to assume that the mundane details of my day don’t fascinate you either. Unfortunately, trivial “updates” make up the bulk of what I see to be posing as content in the social sphere. And for business Fan Pages, such updates are more often ENTIRELY self-promotional than not. Frankly, it needs to be said that constantly selling is the fastest way to get someone to UNfriend or UNfollow you from the social networks. So what’s the solution you ask?… getting naked.

The Naked Marketing Method
http://www.nakedmm.com
I am a self-starting DREAMer and DOer and a foe of the status quo. I’m alternately an unyielding super woman and pleasure-seeking muse.
Frequently irreverent and prone to colorful language, I’m utterly passionate about being an agent of change and fulfilling my duty to cast light upon the world of shadows.
What I want most is to be known and to know others intimately and for both of us to believe there is something incredibly special, noble and fabulous about each other.
Nurturing others makes me come alive and reminds me how much I need to do the same for me. I am secretly thrilled by my lover’s hands as he plays music or brushes our baby’s golden hair.
I mysteriously attract lost animals and endless piles of unfolded laundry. I complain bitterly about food scraps at the bottom of the sink and about people who don’t do what they say they will.
I’m learning to stop resisting chaos and that how I think things “should be” is an endless, dark illusion I swallowed out of ignorance. I cry often and laugh even more; choosing creativity over certainty and grace over struggle.
I’m drawn to bright, shiny objects including people who reach for awakeness and aliveness… who embody the unequaled power of compassion in action.”
