by Tana Torrano in [ allABOUT Biz ]

I Can’t See You!

Just when I thought there was nothing left to say about business cards, I discovered another major point that needs to be made.  Make sure your business cards are readable.

Once that decision is made, then one must next declare an industry that supports that career or lifestyle. That makes it easy to identify where to meet others with like interests and to get involved with purpose in organizations that support their gathering.

Now that you are attending organizational meetings, conferences, networking events and workshops, it helps to know before you go to at least know who you need to meet. Make a list of people who can mean something to you in your particular area of interest.  Yes, go ahead and get a notebook and start writing down specific names and/or job titles of people that would make a difference for you to know.
